Laura Nadine is an autistic composer, violinist, teacher, and advocate based in Ontario, Canada. As a child, Laura was touted as a musical prodigy for her ability to play songs after only hearing them once and received high praise and recognition for her performances. Laura’s 2014 album Chasing Shadows features her performance and original compositions. Laura has nearly three decades of experience as a music teacher and is the Program Director of Studio Laura Nadine, which seeks to provide opportunities to help everyone, including students with disabilities, unlock their musical potential and experience the joy of music. Laura is also an author and has written I Am Snamuh, a memoir recounting her experiences growing up with autism, and Puzzles for Angie, a fictional holiday story featuring autistic characters.
