Of the total 2,477 ASD articles published in the year 2010, 870 cited a source of funding.  Non US funders were acknowledged on a total of 439 publications, US private funders on 302 publications, and US government on 509 publications.  Areas of overlap in the diagram indicate publications that cited two or all three of the funder types.  The extent of funder overlap is as follows: 19 publications cited both US government and non US funders, 148 publications cited US government and US private funders, 9 publications cited non US funders and US private funders, and 106 publications cited funding from all 3 funder types.
