The first component on the far left is strategic planning. The next and second component is research funding. The third component is research outputs and publications. On the far right is the fourth and last component, health impacts and outcomes. Above the flow diagram is a list of the entities that participate in the autism research pipeline, including government agencies, private organizations, researchers and service providers. The flow diagram also illustrates where publications of the IACC and OARC feed into and out of the pipeline. On the far left, the IACC Strategic Plan feeds into the strategic planning component of the flow diagram. Next, the IACC Portfolio Analysis examines research funding, the second component of the diagram, and feeds back into the strategic planning process.
