Line graph.  On the y-axis, the average number of citations per ASD publication is plotted from zero to ten.  The year of publication from 1995 to 2009 is plotted on the x-axis.  There are two lines on the graph, the first represents publications with authors from only one country and the second line represents publications with authors from multiple publications.  With the exception of 1997, the average citations per publication was always higher for publications that contained authors from multiple countries, with approximately seven citations per publication in the year 2009, compared to single authored ASD publications, which averaged a little more than four citations per publication in 2009.
