The states with the largest number of ASD publications are colored in the darkest shades of blue and include California, which published more than 200 articles, and New York and Massachusetts, which each published between 101 to 200 ASD articles. Four other publication ranges are displayed on the map with lighter and lighter color shades, indicating publication ranges from 51 to 100, 11 to 50, 1 to 10, and zero publications.
