The effectiveness of special education services for children with autism: A national longitudinal study

This is a secondary data analysis project that uses three longitudinal databases collected by the U.S. Department of Education, the Pre-Elementary Education Longitudinal Study (PEELS), the Special Education Elementary Longitudinal Study (SEELS), and the National Longitudinal Transition Study-2 (NLTS2). The study will use these data and the latest tools of causal inference to assess the conditions and services (such as being educated in an inclusive setting) that improve the education of these children and youth.
