A prospective multi-system evaluation of infants at risk for autism

This project proposes to pilot a multidisciplinary prospective evaluation of infants at risk for autism to capture biological as well as behavioral data pertinent to identifying early signs of autism. Using a medical examination, a medical questionnaire, and laboratory, metabolic, and electrophysiological measures along with behavioral measures, the Principal Investigators (PIs) hope to identify a relationship between behavioral abnormalities and newly identified biological abnormalities in high-risk infants.
