Radiofrequency transmit and receive upgrade for 3T research scanner  

This grant supports system upgrades that will benefit all researchers using the F.M. Kirby Research Center at the Hugo Moser Research Institute at Kennedy Krieger. The Center provides a core magnetic resonance (MR) facility within an interdisciplinary environment for the investigation of human anatomy, function, and physiology. Center researchers will use the MR scanner to investigate cognitive functions, including memory, attention, reading ability, and others, in conditions such as autism, Rett syndrome, and many other developmental disabilities.
