Learn the Signs. Act Early. is a public awareness campaign to educate parents about childhood development, including early warning signs of autism and other developmental disorders, and encourages developmental screening and intervention. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed "Autism Case Training: A Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Curriculum." This flexible, modular curriculum currently includes seven case-based modules designed for group discussion: early signs, screening, diagnosis, early intervention, treatment, anticipatory guidance, and effective communication of screening results.
