Center for Visual and Cognitive Neuroscience (supplement)

This is a supplement to a previously awarded grant with the same title. This award supports an NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) at North Dakota State University. Research at this center facilitates knowledge of visual and cognitive neuroscience, including studies on disordered perception, cognition, emotion, attention and executive function. Dysfunction in these cognitive systems can cause debilitating and costly disease syndromes, such as autism, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and dementia. This COBRE is dedicated to the discovery of knowledge that illuminates and potentially ameliorates these conditions. Project Status
