Description

Description

The purpose of this study was to develop a treatment that would reduce attention-maintained perseverative speech, while maintaining acceptable levels of appropriately varied replacement speech, during periods when a therapist signaled that they were available. Results showed that the treatment was effective in reducing perseverative behavior, promoting appropriate topic variation in replacement speech, and that speech occurred primarily during times when the therapist signaled that they were available. Data presented at BABAT, 2013; BABAT, 2014; ABAI, 2014; ABAI, 2015; ABAI, 2016.
