Description

This study examines (1) the subhypothesis that miRNA profiles and functions of purified peripheral blood (PB) monocytes are altered in the ASD-IS (autism spectrum disorder - inflammatory subtype) children, in comparison with ASD/normal case controls; and (2) the subhypothesis that certain markers of PB monocytes are reproducible and associated with behavioral symptoms observed in the ASD-IS children.
