Description

Description

The CDC-Denmark program is funded to develop and implement a United States-Denmark collaborative laboratory and epidemiologic infrastructure to examine a variety of public health issues. It augments the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's capabilities to achieve its strategic objectives by using Denmark's unique data infrastructure to address questions for which data are not currently available in the U.S., or would be much more costly to replicate. Note: The total funding for this grant is $1,100,000, of which $400,000 is distributed to research involving autism. Thus, this latter amount was included in the 2009 Portfolio Analysis.
