Naturalistic observation diagnostic assessment for autism

Principal Investigator

Principal Investigator

Smith, Christopher

Description

Description

The purpose of the current study is to develop a method for diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) that relies on videos recorded in a naturalistic environment and reviewed via an online platform by an expert, who will flag behaviors associated with autism, which are then validated by additional experts. This project will reduce the amount of time necessary for diagnosis of ASD, improve enrollment in studies, and reduce waitlist time for clinical services.
