Description

In this study, the Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) approach will be used to investigate the effect of teaching children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who have difficulty with writing a story or a persuasive essay. Although SRSD has been found to be an effective method to teach writing strategies to elementary students with and without disabilities, the effects of this approach to strategy instruction on children with ASD is largely unknown.
