Description

This study examines whether ASD children have altered cellular expression, distribution and/or signaling of mGluRs (metabotropic glutamate receptors) on peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) when compared to age-matched controls, implying an altered immune response following immune activation in the presence of mGluR agonists.
