Description

Description

The purpose of the Behavioral Health Electronic Clinical Quality Measure Development Task Order is to develop, test, and validate electronically-specified clinical quality measures related to primary care screening for depression, suicide, drug use, alcohol use, trauma, and autism, for potential inclusion in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program. This contract will be coordinated with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and CMS measurement development, testing and validation activities.  The project aims to develop consensus on the issues surrounding clinical quality of care measures, define additional quality measures that need to be developed to support quality care, complete technical and electronic specifications, and  perform field testing when necessary.  These measures can be used to facilitate the measurement of disparities in early diagnosis and screening.
