DescriptionDescription |
Development of SFARI Base (Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative), a Web-based information system that supports data acquisition, curation and distribution for scientific studies and related resources, such as the Simons Simplex Collection (SSC). Each clinical site in the SSC employs software to collect study data and keeps track of identifying information for each study participant. Central storage of the data enables expert curators to assess data quality and make improvements with the assistance of clinical sites. SFARI Base provides sophisticated interfaces to enable approved researchers around the world to explore and query clinical data, place orders for specimens and obtain data produced by genetic analysis. |
