Description Description	The Simons data archive at Fermilab allows for the storage and dissemination of raw exome and genome sequencing data from the Simons Simplex Collection, in the ultimate service of gene discovery in autism. The data archive uses infrastructure and transfer protocols originally implemented by the high energy physics community, which allows for (1) the preservation of the integrity and availability of irreplaceable scientific data, and (2) to move these large datasets quickly, efficiently and without error between sites on the the global network.
