Illinois Autism Coaching Network (IACN)

The Illinois Autism Coaching Network (IACN) will enable school/parent teams to work with an IATTAP coach to improve supports provided to students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in their schools. Key components of this program include post-training implementation, self-assessment, local coaching, regional summits, and implementing critical elements in school districts. This multi-pronged approach will provide opportunities for ongoing training and support of school personnel, as well as parents, to better support students with ASD. An integrated evaluation system will be used to ensure effective programming for these students. This model will result in a replicable process for other schools and families so that they too can assess, plan, and improve their systems of support and the outcomes for students with ASD.
