Due to the likelihood of dangerous weather conditions, the IACC 2012 Stategic Planning Workshop has been canceled.

Agenda: | The workshop will focus on the seven chapters of the 2011 IACC Strategic Plan, featuring discussions between IACC members and external experts in the areas of basic and translational science, as well as services research and policy, regarding updates that may be considered for the 2012 Strategic Plan. The first day of the workshop, October 29th, will focus on services research and policy. The second day of the workshop, October 30th, will focus on basic and translational research. |

Please Note: | Sessions for public comment on the material presented during the workshop will be held on both days. Those wishing to provide oral public comment in person at the workshop must sign up for oral comment at the check-in desk on the day of the workshop. Due to scheduling constraints, oral comments will be limited to two minutes per person and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. If slots for the oral public comment sessions are full, each individual and/or organization will only be allowed to provide oral comment during one of the workshop days in order to provide an opportunity for as many individuals/organizations as possible to participate. Those persons who are not able to make oral comments due to the time constraints, and those preferring to comment in written form, may submit their written comments pertaining to the material presented at the workshop via email to IACCPublicInquiries@mail.nih.gov through Friday, November 2nd. All written comments will become part of the public record. This workshop will also be open to the public through a conference call number and live webcast on the Internet. Members of the public who participate using the conference call phone number will be able to listen to the discussion but will not be heard.
