November 11, 2020This white paper examines risk factors for COVID-19 mortality. Risk factors included gender, age, developmental disabilities, cancer, intellectual disabilities, and more. They found that COVID-19 patients with developmental disabilities had the higher odds of dying from COVID-19 than any other group.

I Want to See My Friends: The Everyday Experiences of Autistic People and Their Families
July 2020This report investigates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns on autistic people and their families in Australia. Investigators conducted in-depth interviews with 131 people over 115 hours. Participants reported feeling unsupported and felt online services and therapies were unsatisfactory. Autistic people discussed difficulties brought by social isolation and negative impacts on their mental health.
